Royal Academy and 'A Presence of Departed Acts'

A group of Royal Academy students are performing John Woolrich’s ‘A Presence of Departed Acts’ at the Royal Academy of Music in London on the 23rd April. It was one of four pieces (the others were by Peter Maxwell Davies, Edward McGuire and Alexander Goehr) commissioned to celebrate Sir James Mirrlees, Scottish Economist and Nobel Laureate, in the centenary year of the Nobel Prizes.
